Eight of Cups

A man with a staff walks away from all that used to matter to him. The way the eight Cups have been stacked so neatly reveal his previous concern. But now he abandons them to become perhaps a pilgrim, or seeker of something higher than the material success he has known.

The Eight of Cups is mostly about moving on and doing something else. It is sometimes a sign that you have taken things in your present situation as far as they can go. You are being given a unique opportunity to rise above your habitual response patterns and be free of traits that no longer work for you. Don't worry about "why" or "how", just trust. Things will end in a positive way, and you will be given a new direction.
