The Emperor is seated on a throne of solid stone decorated with Ram's heads - the symbols for Aires and Mars. He holds a stylized Egyptian Ankh (symbol of life) in one hand, and a globe (symbolizes his control of the material world) in the other. He repesents authority, virility, self-mastery and he is interested in that which is physical and concrete. He, of course, is the counterpart to the Empress.

If your goal was built upon a solid foundation, it will be realized. Drawing this card indicates that you should accept what is coming your way, and that you will receive most (perhaps all) of what you desire.
