Unusual Psychic Experiences

I was recently asked why an unusual psychic occurrence might happen to someone who has had no previous psychic experience. Sometimes, for a short period in someone's life, they might experience a period where they have a sudden burst in their own psychic energy. Even people who had never experienced anything in the past and who might not even believe in these things can have this happen.

As I have said before, I believe that everyone has psychical ability in one form or another and in varying degrees - like singing; everyone can sing but not everyone is going to make it to the Met. And every once in a while these latent abilities will pop out in some strange way. When I was young I went through a period where I could catch the scent of a person and then a short time later I would actually run into that person.

There is no reason to be afraid or concerned about events like these, even though they might feel kind of freaky when they happened! These events, when they occur, are probably something that will never happen again, but they are just a reminder that there is more to our environment than can be measured with our five senses.

Psychic Predictions 2006

Wouldn’t it be great if we could all know ahead of time what was going to happen? We could all be lottery winners, play the stock market, save countless lives, and be incredibly happy! So, even if we’re psychic, how come we can’t pull these answers from our minds, spirits, guides, crystal balls...who or whatever?

I think the key concept here is “fluid construct.” Time and events are not fixed in space waiting for us to catch up to them. They are constantly moving and shifting and there are an infinite number of outcomes available to us, depending on the choices we make and the choices made by those around us. Although occasionally an Act of God (hurricanes, earthquakes, the Sox winning the World Series) will come along to shake things up.

As a psychic, I use my gifts to feel my way along these multiple lines of possibility to a probable outcome and then offer this advice to my clients. Psychic counseling isn’t so much about predicting the future, as it is about making sense of the present and helping people find and take the next step on the path that will lead to their best possible future.

Martyrs

Many times when people begin to develop their spiritual and psychic abilities they start to believe that they have to save the world with their gifts. This can lead you to become tired and depressed. You are only human and can only do that which is within your abilities. Remember that you need to stay healthy in mind, body and spirit, just like anyone else and you have to see to the immediate needs of your families and friends; your job and your personal life just like anyone else. If people come to you for assistance, you can only do what you are able to do. Just because someone may want something from you doesn't mean they should receive it. The choice to help is yours to make.

You cannot and should not interfere with other peoples' karma. This is why listening to your intuition is so important. You are responsible for your own decisions and you are responsible if you let others take advantage of your abilities. It is important to let go of your attachment to your gift and just let the gift be. Detach yourself and let God give guidance. It's like the Fool card in the Tarot. Have faith and seek direction with a joyful countenance.

Everyday Life as a Psychic

I was recently asked about how being psychic has affected my life. I was aware of my abilities from the time I was just a few years old. It took a while and a lot of experimentation to get to the point where I am today. I began as an empath, being able to feel others’ feelings...and then learning to try to block out those feelings and separate them from my own real feelings. My abilities developed to where I was working with spirits, finding missing people (usually passed on, but sometimes still alive) and using various tools to guide others on their journeys. I've written several articles on these subjects on my website.

After growing up like this, listening to my intuition has become second nature to me. It's part of everything I do and every decision I make, but it doesn't define me. It's not who I am, it's just something else that I do. I know a few psychics who can't "perform" if the conditions aren't just right. It doesn't have to be a production, it just is and you just do it. It isn't called your sixth sense for nothing. I see, hear, touch, smell, taste and intuit - no more special or exciting than that. And it's something that everyone is capable of. In one of my earlier blog entries I put it something like this. Everyone can sing, and if you study, practice and work hard you can learn to sing well. And like any talent, some people are naturally better at it than others. I think of psychic ability just like that.

When I counsel someone or am asked to find a missing person, I ground my energy, ask for guidance and let images play across my third eye. Then I use the Tarot cards to get more detailed information - like time frames or other people or circumstances involved. The only way I know that I'm getting accurate information to pass along is that I have been doing this for a very long time and have had the advantage of the return feedback to know that what I saw, said or did was true and factual. Otherwise, the sensation is just the same as if I was daydreaming and creating a fantasy in my mind. As a kid there were times when I would daydream about an event or situation and then what I saw in my head actually happened. In fact, that is how I started to realize I had a certain talent in this field.

Psychic ability, like any other talent, is a gift from God and a reminder of our connection to the Source. So when I am done counseling, I give thanks for the guidance I have received. Thank you…a short, wonderful prayer.

Sweetie Darlings

I have two wonderful kids. They are smart, funny, motivated and just plain nice – okay, I might be a little biased! But my poor kids are always complaining that it isn’t bad enough that moms have eyes in the back of their heads, but with their mom being psychic, they can’t get away with anything. It works both ways, however. When I’m wandering around the house saying, “What did I do with my glasses?” or “Where did I put my shoes?” my kids always say, “Hey mom, I thought you were psychic!” Brats:)!!

Welcome to Psychic Blogger

This is my first entry into the world of web logging so I thought I’d begin by sharing a little info about how I discovered my psychic abilities.

I was 14 months old when my twin sisters were born. They were absolutely identical and are often mistaken for each other even today. One sister had a small strawberry mark on her eyelid that disappeared after a few months and that was how my mother and father told them apart. I was the only one who could tell them apart without looking for the birthmark. One night my mother put my sisters into the wrong cribs. When I asked her why she did that, she checked their eyelids and, sure enough, she had mixed them up.

As they grew older we were all able to identify one from the other as long as they were facing us. By the time I was about 5 years old my parents had long realized that I could easily tell the twins apart. So when they had parties with their friends they would have my sisters stand at one end of the room with their backs to me (and if you’ve ever known twins, they are usually always dressed and groomed exactly alike as children!) I would then be asked to tell which twin was which. I was tested like this at many of their parties over the years and was never wrong! So I give credit to my parents for unknowingly helping me to develop my psychic abilities.
